Working across projects

Mention other projects and let the agent run work in them in parallel.

Beta

Working across projects is rolling out gradually. If no projects appear when you type @, it is not available on your account yet.

Sometimes one request touches more than one plugin: a shared API in one project and its users in another. With this feature the agent can look at other projects in your workspace and start work in them while it works on the current one.

Mentioning a project#

Type @ and pick a project from the list, or write @[Project name]. You can mention up to five projects in one message. Only projects in the same workspace can be mentioned.

Parallel agents#

When you mention other projects, Modloom asks you to allow parallel agents before sending. If you allow it, the agent gets a tool to start its own run in those projects, and only in those.

  • It only works in Build mode.
  • Each parallel agent uses the same model and spends credits from your weekly allowance on top of the main run, so this can use noticeably more credits.
  • Parallel runs are fire and forget. The main agent starts them and does not see their results. Check each project's thread for what happened.

Limits#

To keep usage predictable:

  • one active run per project,
  • two active runs per workspace,
  • four new runs per workspace per minute.

If a limit is reached the run is refused and nothing is started.

Proposals to create projects#

The agent can also propose creating a new project. A card appears and the run pauses until you allow or deny it. Nothing is created without your approval.

Heads up

Parallel agents change code in several projects at once. Read each project's Files changed before you download or push anything.
