Troubleshooting
Fixes for failed builds, plugins that will not load and stuck runs.
Find your symptom, then follow the steps.
The build failed#
- Open the Build tab and read the Maven log from the bottom. The first
ERRORline is usually the real cause. - Ask the agent to fix it. If it did not notice the cause, paste the key lines into your message.
- Check the engine and version target. A mismatch is a common reason for missing classes and methods.
- If the build timed out, the project may be too heavy for the five-minute limit. Remove large dependencies or ask the agent to simplify.
If the agent stopped before fixing the build, send another message. It continues from the current code.
A run stopped early#
A run ends early when it reaches its budget for turns, time or cost. The thread says which. Send a smaller, more focused request, or start with a Plan run. See Plan and Build modes.
"Limit reached" messages#
You see a message with the reset time when you run out of credits, build minutes or storage. What each blocks is in Plans and limits. Wait for the reset, free up storage, or change plan.
The plugin does not load#
Check the server console for the error just above the plugin's name.
- Unsupported class version or
UnsupportedClassVersionError: your server's Java is older than the plugin needs. Update Java, or build for an older Minecraft version. See Engines and versions. NoSuchMethodErrororNoClassDefFoundError: the plugin was built for a different engine or version than your server runs.Plugin ... requiresor a missing dependency: another plugin it needs is not installed.Invalid plugin.yml: openplugin.ymlin the editor. Ask the agent to fix it.
Commands do nothing#
- Grant the permission node the plugin uses, or test as an operator.
- Check the console for an error when you run the command.
- Make sure the command is declared in
plugin.yml.
I cannot edit a file#
The editor is read-only while an agent run is active. Wait for the run to finish or cancel it. If a save is rejected because the file changed, reload the file and apply your edit again.
I cannot download the jar#
Only successful builds have a download. If the latest build failed, fix it and build again. If a build succeeded but the download does not start, try again in a moment because download links are short-lived.
GitHub shows "Diverged"#
GitHub has commits Modloom could not fast-forward over. Your work is on a branch named modloom/ plus a short id. Merge it in GitHub, then run again. See GitHub sync.
The agent is unavailable#
If you see that the agent is not available, the service has agent execution switched off or is being updated. Try again later.
Still stuck#
Collect the project name, what you did, the build log and the exact message you saw. That is what is needed to look into it.
